I found NICE GIRLS, NAUGHTY SEX at a local bookstore recently. The cover made me think this would be written in that noir style. It was a very nice surprise to read contemporary stories of all genres, and all hot.The book is separated into four sections: Vanilla, Dirty Martini, Licorice Whips, and Oysters. What I enjoyed about this collection of stories is that each story dealt with a first-time type of experience. There was a story where a newly formed couple get intimate for the first time in an old, abandoned home. A photographer, who has a business taking pictures and videos of couples being intimate in front of her, gets a job where she takes pictures of a lesbian couple.This collection was expertly edited. I believe I found one editing error, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the stories. The writing comes across like literary fiction, which I thoroughly enjoy.Take this book on a long train ride…preferably with a partner. Or enjoy it on a beach.#CillasBookManiacs
A totally self-indulgent pleasure read. “Nice Girls, Naughty Sex” is a collection of wildly entertaining tales that have earned their place on my nightstand. With such aptly named chapters as Vanilla, Dirty Martini, Licorice Whips, and Oysters, this book is guaranteed to have something to fit everyone’s flavor palate.There are absolutely no fillers here, folks! Jordan and Samantha pooled a first-rate assortment of talented writers for this collaboration. Each story is a cleverly orchestrated standalone which should be labeled a fire hazard. I thoroughly adored each story however “Corset” by Kay Jaybee and “Blow Me” by Rachel Kramer Bussel tickled my funny bone in places. I like my erotica a little cheeky. Then there’s Sienna Conroy and Valerie Lewis – I could go on forever.”Nice Girls, Naughty Sex” has my stamp of approval! It would make an excellent summer read. Utterly combustible.
