A sense of craftsmanship shapes the music of Blake Rose. The Perth-born singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer structures every piece of his sonic architecture by hand from airy guitar transmissions and cinematic beats to thoughtful musings and climactic vocal catharsis. During early high school years, Blake discovered his love for music on long road trips around Australia with his family. Sat in the back of the car he would learn guitar, write songs, and experiment with music production on GarageBand which sparked a deep passion and curiosity for the craft. From the age of 14, Blake took to the streets of Fremantle and Perth CBD where busking soon became his part time job. Along with performing gigs, and even selling CDs door-to-door, this was able to fund regular trips back and forth to Los Angeles upon graduating high school and a small stint at WAAPA.
