Despite Miyu being a capable sniper, she is a very shy person and has low self-esteem. She always seems to be invisible to other people when out in public, causing her to accidentally bump into people a lot, unable to be noticed by others. Not even automatic doors can sense her virtually invisible presence. Her biggest fear is her being forgotten by everyone, including her own allies.

Miyu is a world-class house dancer, holding numerous titles in both domestic and international competitions, including being named the world champion at the world’s most prestigious battle competition JUSTE DEBOUT 2017 WORLD FINAL. In order to expand her horizons and to improve the social status of dancers, she’s been active in a variety of different fields, including holding solo performances, presenting visual works, giving workshops and lectures at educational and public events, and appearing as a fashion model and in advertisements.
As a format, manga, with its ability to crawl into characters’ heads, is particularly suited to presenting both Miyu and Larva as multidimensional beings. It allows readers to more fully understand Larva’s almost single-minded devotion to his mistress. It also exposes the well-disguised chinks in Miyu’s calm and collected, “public” persona.
Miyu holds a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from Kyoto University of Art. Miyu studied Sho, Japanese Calligraphy. She teaches Sho and enjoys creating calligraphy art for private collections and commercial projects. Her work has been sold as prints and cards nationwide. Her passion for the healing arts and calligraphy has blossomed into public calligraphy art performances.
