Velvet Trial #1 is the first endless in Flavor Frenzy. The rewards received are determined by how many waves you passed before your base health reaches 0. (For example, you receive more rewards for getting defeated on Wave 120 than on Wave 55).

It features both a Land and Water path with very little overlap between them. Velvet Trials introduced Kitsunebi versions of the bosses and mini-bosses from Difficulty 1-5 maps which show up on Wave 15, 25, 35, 45 and then every 5 waves after Wave 50.
Velvet Trial is a very tough challenge that requires skill and concentration and is heavily recommended to be attempted with a full squad of 6 players. One of the most crucial aspects is knowing your position, these being land or water. Land is typically separated into: frontland, mid-frontland (commonly referred to as frontmid), mid-backland (commonly referred to as backmid) and backland.
Using Area Bears ( and ) and Splash Bears ( / ) is highly recommended if you are aiming to get far into Velvet Trials. Otherwise, and will do just fine.
